if you go edit - preset manager and then use the drop down menu to go to patterns then theres a lil arrow and you can put load patterns and load up the one's you have downloaded.
there are plenty of tutorials around for you to find out how to use patterns.
[link] has a tutorial on how to load, use and save patterns so you shoudl find something there.
as for downloading patterns there are loads all over deviantart, and on other sites its jsut a matter of searching for them.
